I hope CT engineers figure out how not to shatter ALL the windows and destroy the inner cage, in an impact. Sledge or otherwise. Crash test videos are going to ROCK!
Another question. If an accident is energetic enough to bend a SS fender where will the metal actually fail? The posts? Something else? For repairs, would one cut out the failure point and weld a segment or panel in?
As this thread illustrates, the CT is an experimental vehicle. Not a consumer car. Stainless alloy 30X, supposed FSD, new battery tech. Etc. To many valid questions to even ask. We're gonna be testdrivers of future EV tech.
I wonder if Tesla will dump the ever expanding Big Ugly Screen, for dual screens - one dedicated to driver spec functions (maybe with heads up?) and the other for infotainment, navigation and background functions? Some redundancy could be built in too.
Recent Rivian vids (ads) about offroad capabilities are astonishing. Highly adjustable suspension height, 4 axle motors, 400 mile range, 3 sec - 0 to 60, huge storage, $ 61 K ish with tax rebates... Cybertruck has a true ev rival...
Sharp rear edges, not gonna fly with thos in production. It's, Beginning. To. Look. Ugly. Again, IDKW. The front end needs design work. Wanna see more lights? Tow gear? Graffiti bait!
Battery day will reveal all! I'll stick with the dual motor, million mile battery. Supercharger V3, 30 minute 3/4 th charge time, Quiet cybertruck@varooom!
If FSD isn't free by the time I get mine, I don't need it. Cybertruckin by FSD is a sad joke, on us. When I can't do my driving with enhanced autopilot, my kids will drive...
Adjustable suspension height, dual or tri-AWD motors, spacious, million mile batteries, million mile body, optional great FSD, brutalist design, I WANT TO DRIVE IT! MY KIDS WILL INHERIT IT!
