  1. EV's - Self Charge as Wheel turns

A wheel can be used to generate electricity while driving, however, the resistance that it causes on drag to generate electricity will have a negative effect and actually take more power to operate the vehicle. This only works during the regenerative braking or coasting when kinetic energy can...
  2. Who's planning on a Cybertruck factory pickup / delivery

I f they did, it would be a very inexpensive source of additional revenue, as they would still charge the customer the delivery fees. I live about 45 minutes from the Fremont factory, and asked to pick-up our model Y there, and was told that we would still have to pay the delivery fees.
  3. The cost of driving an EV?

"When there's a huge solar energy spill, it's just called a nice day."
  4. Who's planning on a Cybertruck factory pickup / delivery

I really can't find the answer, but has Tesla actually stated that if you pick-up the CT there, that they will in fact provide a factory tour? If so, I'm in!
  5. Maybe I shouldn't wait for the CT anymore.

I’m hoping a lot of people will cancel the order so that I can move-up on the list!
  6. Who's planning on a Cybertruck factory pickup / delivery

I would likely do the same and pick it up, but have a question. If you pick it up, does one still pay the destination charges? I live only about 45 minutes from the Fremont factory, and still had to pay the $750 destination charges even after willing to pick it up there.
  7. 1.4 MILLION Reservations for the Cybertruck, and Counting!!!

How can I check my number? I ordered on January 2nd.
  8. Battery size on the single battery Cybertruck will be same as and dual and tri motor?

While I understand that two motors is more efficient than one, and three is more efficient than two, I was wondering if the batter size on the CT will be the same as the two and three motor version? It’s hard to believe that a third motor would add 200 miles of range, so I’m hoping that Tesla...
  9. Get a tri-motor or wait another year?

Chances are this will likely be a once in a lifetime purchase, so go all out. 20K extra over any years isn’t really that much. What I would like to see however, is a CT dual motor with a 500 mile range at an in between price point of 59K. I wonder if Tesla is even considering that?
