I ordered the tri-motor due to the range. If the dual-motor evolves near the 500 mile range I’d downgrade my order. Following the battery technology that is extending range rapidly, hoping by the time production starts my dream will come true.

I watched Elon riding in the Cybertruck with Jay and he said he was reducing the size by 5%, not the original 3%. Now I’m totally confused if he’s leaving the concept size. He said on that piece that he wanted it to be able to fit in a garage.

My tri-motor reservation was also based on range otherwise I would have ordered the dual motor. The tri will be an awesome machine!

I'm OK staying with my current $100 fully refundable amount but would be willing to increase that ~1 year out from production. I think if they take away the fully refundable amount at that time it would shake out the tree a bit. Rivian's deposit is $1k, fully refundable.
