I believe Elon is taking some suggestions from customers on Twitter.

I don't have a twitter account but a good suggestion would be sound dampening speakers. I recently rented a jeep with this in it and it really helped with road noise. I have a model S now and you hear all the road noise as the car is super quite. The CT with the big tires will be loud!

Anyway if you have suggestions or would like to post this one to Elon that would be great!

Add noise canceling through internal speakers. Set the noise cancelation to focus on typical road noise wavelengths and ignore sirens to allow the driver to hear. (could also amplify sirens or siren alerted via monitor)
My opinion is based on reservation holder and not a Tesla vehicle owner.

I tweeted him a question about how the exoskeleton would affect the cost of repairs but never received a response. Would still like an answer to this question; and, by extension, the question many have raised relating to whether the exoskeleton would allow crumple-zones to dampen the force of an impact.
