Hey guys, I've been really considering what the Cybertruck will be like to live with. I know that the CT is awesome but if it isn't liveable then I can't have it.

Right now I'm thinking of interior comfort. Anybody know if the CT has interior phone charging (especially if the middle front seat is up, cuz I will be using it a lot for my family.) How about rear-seat climate controls, or at least 3-zone climate. Thanks!

All Teslas now have wireless charging and all have environmental controls. How Tesla will implement them on the CT is as yet unknown.

Sadly these are yet to be answered questions.

The machine most similar to the Cybertruck would be one of the GM 2-Mode hybrids full-sized pickupt rucks. I'm referring to the 2009-2013 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra.

Also, other Tesla vehicles are worth driving as points-of-reference, too.

The Cybertruck and the GMC Sierra 2-Mode Hybrid are both full-sized luxury trucks.

The GMC Sierra Hybrid is capable of moving on electric power, even though it's limited to low speeds before the V8 kicks in. It's enough to get a taste of what driving an EV pickup must be like, even though a real EV pickup truck would have drastically more electric torque available.

If you're curious about what it'd be like to live with the Cybertruck, go drive one of the GM 2-mode hybrids (and some Teslas). There is a place to charge my phone in the truck, but I had to provide my own USB-C adapter, and no rear-seat climate controls. These are just fine for my use-case -- but your needs may differ from mine. If you're asking this question, a full-sized pickup truck is probably a larger vehicle than you're used to, which comes with a learning curve. And, if you're asking this question, you're probably accustomed to conventional drivetrains -- so driving a big hybrid like this will have its own adjustment period, as well.

Since the GM Big Hybrids are roughly a decade old, they're not particularly expensive as used full-sized pickup trucks (and SUVs) go.

I bought one the GM Big Hybrids because my wife insisted I buy a pickup truck this summer, instead of waiting for the Cybertruck. This vehicle is affordable and reliable enough that I can drive it while I wait for my FSPU-EV to be made. Turns out I genuinely like the thing, and find it quite easy to live with. If the Cybertruck design team tries to benchmark the competition at all, Tesla's truck will be easy to live with too.
