Just read this blog post about EV ownership.
Having just spent $700 for four tires on my ICE mobile, I hadn't even considered the expense of tires for an EV with all the high torque and my lead foot!
Still, the EV pros seem to greatly outweigh the cons. Maybe I'll just have to lighten up on the "gas" pedal. LOL!

I'm planning to let my CT do most of the driving itself so I am not too tempted to get any more traffic tickets...

Whole reason I am avoiding the Tri-Motor... that much power would be VERY tempting... and could result in consequences.
