It is commonly stated the front motor will be from the model 3. How do you think the back motors will be configured. Will they be independent and drive each wheel separate removing the rear differential or coupled together? Which would you prefer and why?

Another take on the motor setup that I had not thought about but watching a YouTube video made me think about. What if the front had the 2 motors and the rear was the single motor. More efficient pulling the vehicle along then pushing, better off road as it would be like having a front locker and would easily be able to have a back locker engaged and steer, if stuck backing out with front wheel drive is better (weight over the driving tires, and would be the same here), frees up weight for the payload in the back, and torque vectoring for cornering.

Most likely set up will be two motors in the back, each turning a single wheel, that will improve traction in the back.

There wouldn't be much point in having two motors if they weren't independent.
