I do not hate either Tesla nor Apple, but I also am not happy with both of their stances on the right to repair.
Software can be developed that is secure but does not keep a Tesla component from one car to be used on another car (such as when salvaging two cars to make one working car).

I have no issue with part compatibility. I looked up the right to repair movement on Wikipedia and it seems reasonable to me:

Hi, not promoting this APP, just found this item, and sharing the knowledge.

I couldn’t resist and got the app, but there are two very relevant criticisms of the app (iOS): the size it drops is not accurate and resizing isn’t really supported, and it is very difficult to drive it.I tried going to the larger screen of my iPad and the record button didn’t work. I guess I’ll have to hope they eventually upgrade it and I might have the CT by then.
