I don't know if it's just me, but I get in a lot of trouble when I stamp on the gas of my Turbo Subaru that does 0-60 in 5.7. I am planning ahead for what could happen with a 2.9. I am thinking of having a mission control sequence of some type. Maybe "Engaging warp speed in 3-2-1." Have any of you guys thought that far ahead?

I'm slowly breaking my wife in as far as acceleration goes... Got her the MY so she'll be used to the 5.4 second 0-60 time while I often say something like "That's 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. Imagine my CT doing that in 2.9!"

So be careful when your lady is talking or anyone for that manner before you step On the Accelerator?

My wife already hates the CT and I haven't even got it yet. She thinks it's ugly. REALLY hoping there are features that she will like. She doesn't like going fast in our boat either, so I can about imagine how this is going to go....:D:D

I keep trying to throw out cool things every once in a while like:

  1. A tailgate that you can walk up
  2. Back seat opens to the vault for the dog
  3. Being able to pass people easily
  4. If you hit a deer it won't phase the CT
  5. Can go through fairly deep water
  6. Tow the boat easily
So far.....she is unimpressed...lol. REALLY hoping for cool features.

My wife thought the same. I took her to LA and it felt like I was pulling teeth, but, when we got there, her whole story changed about the Cybertruck when she got to see it in person. She said, wow, ok honey, the truck is definitely much much nicer in person. I was like you really think so? Waiting for some sarcastic response cuz it’s pretty much what I have been hearing ? but, nope. Instead she said, I’m really excited about it now. I truly want to have it now!! Lmao.
? I was sweating that one.

My wife and I test drove a MY P Stealth. We stopped on a freeway on-ramp and then launched. My cheeks moved back to my ears. Seemed like a pretty good preview.

Regarding the looks, my wife was fairly horrified at first, but she has come around.. Last week I was showing my daughter pictures and my daughter was making fun of it, then my wife jumped in to explain why the design is brilliant.

I raced dune buggies back when I was a teen. I'm not afraid of speed but I like to be in control and only do it on a closed track as opposed to surface streets. As I've aged I've become environmentally conscious so I drive a Camry Hybrid, my husband drives a mustang. He likes to freak me out by hitting the gas in his mustang. I've never liked it because of the position I have to sit in at 6' tall (can't see much out of the car as I'm leaning back too far) and I'm not in control.

I can't wait for pay back when I get my CT. ?

I think being able to take your pets along on trips in air conditioned/heated comfort is going to be game changer for a lot of wives, plus this one will be able to tow the horse trailer too!
