I want to be able to throw crap in the bed like I've done with all my other lined truck beds and not worry about dents or scratches that instantly age the truck and also turn into rust. The stainless aspect may give me that. I would definitely just line it if it weren't for the T slots based on my past experiences. I wouldn't, however, want to lose the functionality of the t slots.. I also haven't had the advantage in any other truck bed of super strong, dent, scratch, and rust resistant stainless for the bed material. That might make the necessity of lining a bed to preserve its integrity a relic of the past but I'm going to rely on reviews to help me out. I'm pretty far down the reservation list so it's gonna give me time to learn from the early recipients.

Yes I plan on having a bed mat. I have one in my taco and it's super helpful to pull the mat and unload all the crap. Cut it myself from a Ford one since there wasnt one for Tacoma. It's helpful that the Tacoma wheel wells extend to the front wall. Next time I will cut the mat long so it folds up the tail gate covering the gap. ( Hopefully CT doesn't have the gap) and put handle holes in the mat.
I have to agree with k doc. The lines in the bed extend over the under bed storage lid. Why would the lid have t-slots?
Im not disagreeing with K Doc, I just havent seen any good close up photos. Rubber lines make more sense to me as well, that is pretty much the main reason why i like rhino liner.. it keeps your stuff from sliding around!
