Well I’m selling my home in Washington state in the next month or so and moving to Texas hill country.
The home I’m building is all solar and will not only power my home completely but charge up my EV, golf cart and bikes as well.
so I will be completely self sustaining in the power needs area.

"I know everything there is to know about the U.S., I’ve seen all the Seinfeld episodes, Gilligan’s Island too ! I took the family to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Washington Museums, and a few other things,
oh’ and I’ve seen the SR71 :)

I’m sure there’s nothing else worth seeing or doing . . . . . until the Cybertruck factory is built ;-)

Yes, unfortunately confronted by such a destructive fool, perhaps I would have to make him reconsider his actions, of course he may see reason on his own, when he removes that rod he’s brandishing from an uncomfortable location. ( oh’ and I love most of the U.S. action movies too. I get all my lessons in life from them ;))

But that destructive fool will only ever be a symptom. The urgent real issue will still need addressing.

And if its not addressed, the symptoms just keep multiplying until they consume everything.
Even, all that's good.

And it won’t be addressed by the 2nd Amendment. Exercising that right, is both ineffectual and is giving those in authority both the excuse and the motivation to stomp on its citizens protesting peacefully, even harder.

The U.S. authorities can bring multiple whole foreign countries and all their military resources to yield, in no time flat. Case in point “mission accomplished” in Iraq. In a handful of weeks.

So I must say it seems to me that even with the ridiculously powerful firearms commonly available to the general population, Im certain, its no contest, if its population rises in protest to overthrow their govt, using force !

By the way, your re always going to have a portion of society that is unproductive, or worse.
But how big that population is, and is the Govt policy making more or less of them !

America leads the world in so many ways, the 20th century was the American century, no other country did more for civilisation and its self, but the disparity between its have and have not's is phenomenally unfortunate.

P.S. If I was driving that car I might be thinking I could take that anarchist little sxxt, but if he was bigger, I wouldn’t.

Far better to descalate or remove myself from the situation like the actual driver did.

I was going to get the on road tyres, but I may choose the off-road ones, I think I’ll need the Kevlar reinforcement. Just a little more peace of mind against knives and guns ;)

Who do I sound like :
I know every thing there is to know about the U.S.
Nobody knows the U.S. Better than I do
I guess that explains your knowledge base clearly.

GEO Said: "I know everything there is to know about the U.S., I’ve seen all the Seinfeld episodes, Gilligan’s Island too ! I took the family to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Washington Museums, and a few other things, oh’ and I’ve seen the SR71"

So does everyone Down Under, carry knives, wrestle crocs, and eat goannas for lunch too? Since that's what I saw on a movie once I guess that's proof enough, right? We are far from perfect in the States but we sure as hell don't take kindly to any outsiders telling us how to deal with our stuff. Kind of like everyone has an anal vent and it's just like their opinion in many ways. Anyone foolish to believe the MSM horse manure explains it all. The "Till you've walked a mile in my shoes" rule applies here. My brother was murdered in 1993 by one of the entitled species and for the FIRST time in my life I saw a persons brain material up close and personal, does that qualify me to do your brain surgery? It is evident your tour bus never stopped in the hood to do community service work, you just got the "windshield tour" at 70 mph and formed your entitled opinion from that, my what a comfortable life. You know it all and ain't nobody going to prove otherwise.

What does burning business and looting and kidnapping innocent drivers on the highway, (Look up the definition of KIDNAPPING) have to do with the tragic loss of human life? NOTHING, just an excuse to steal stuff and act up and think they won't get caught like all laws are suspended. Some small businesses that were still reeling from the shutdown from the virus had their property torched. How does that benefit a community? Do you really think they will be able to re-build and if they do I seriously doubt they would in that community. If I had been standing on the sidewalk that day I would not have remained still and live with myself but would have traded my life for Mr. Floyd with swift action that did NOT require the use of a cell phone, it's how I was brought up and how I had already made that decision long ago while serving in the military, 21 years, U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard. But to hear some know-it-all outsider who does not have a "dog in the hunt" try to school me on how my country should go is totally unacceptable. Suggest you stick to playing with your kangaroos and sheep.

Anyone who gives a nod to SR 71 is an honorary American in my book.

But I will never "descalate" on my own time, just because a bunch of commies have the road blocked.

Assuming I'm in my Cybertruck.
I am thinking a "Cow Catcher" modification with the razor wire upgrade is looking real good.

No goannas in the New World so you mean iguanas. Very different creatures. Despite the fact that lots of people eat them no iguana has ever eaten a man. Not so with the goannas (or their relatives anyway).

[Edit]Actually as Florida is now overrun with Tegus I guess I wouldn't be that surprised to hear there are Varanids running around there too.

I’m building a 40x50 shop and the roof will be covered in solar panels. It will all come down into a large power wall and feed the shop and the home.
roof will also collect rain water for use in the home.
thanks for the info...

Is a Komodo Dragon kind of like a suped-up cousin to an iguana? A mean 200 pound beast.
No, he's a souped up goanna. Distant, distant cousin perhaps but they are in different orders (Iguanidae vs. Varanidae). Yes, he is a mean dude. The Indonesians call him buaja darat: land crocodile

The Cybertruck depends on the electric grid for recharging. The apocalypse will takeout the grid. The military runs on diesel/ jet A. The post apocalyptic Cybertruck will need a diesel generator in the vault (or trailer with one) or a Cyberdiesel tanker with built in diesel generator to accompany it.
im making a wood gasafier, basically just for fun. I will at some point charge the CT with it, carbon neutral. unless of course I drop that project and do a fold out solar system. :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for pointing out that Goannas and Iguanas are different, but they still taste like chicken.
Can't say as I've never eaten either. Don't think I could eat a Varanid. It would be sort of like eating a dog (which I understand is delicious), Ever since I saw one (a Varianid, that is) for the first time at the Staten Island Zoo when I was about 10 I just thought that was the coolest animal I had ever seen and have to admit that I sort of still do. I have chased them across the gibber plains of Australia, gone to see them on Komodo Island, tried to buy them back from Thais who had bought them for supper in open air markets and had them as pets leading to dialogs such as the following in an emergency room on Christmas day:

Dr.: Sir, do you work in an aviary?
Me: No. Why?
Dr:According to your admitting sheet you were bitten by a buzzard,
Me: No . It was a lizard
Dr: Is it poisonous?
Me: No, there are no poisonous lizards except Gila Monsters

Now, 35 years later I find out they are poisonous (but not very).

But I digress. Intentionally. To get it away from politics.

PS; I have eaten crocodile. Sort of like fishy chicken I guess,
